Port Monitors These programs allow you to keep an eye on any port you want , great as an alarm system in case of intrusion attempts .

NukeNabber: NukeNabber sets itself up to listen on TCP and UDP ports, which are commonly attacked over the Internet. A total of 50 ports can be monitored simultaneously. The program is designed to give you the information you need for tracing an attacker, including methods of finding an attacker's nickname on IRC (mIRC, Visual IRC, and PIRCH, for now). This version fixes several bugs.

Net Alert: Monitors the TCP/IP ports on your computer and provides an alert when a remote connection is detected

Rainbow Diamond Intrusion Monitor: Acts as a burglar alarm to alert you when someone may be trying to attack your computer from the Internet. Intrusion Detector monitors for suspicious network activity directed at your computer. When an event is noted, it is logged and you are alerted. Intrusion Detector will also attempt to determine the identify of the remote user who may be trying to attack your computer.

Attacker: A TCP/UDP port listener. You provide a list of ports to listen on and the program will notify you when a connection or data arrives at the port(s). ProPort: An excellent anti trojan port monitoring utility, this program is surprisingly small but has a lot of good anti trojan functions.
